Bishop Wilson School is an Anglican VA school with a distinctive Christian ethos.
We are an extended school ‘hub’, with a private ‘Wraparound’ Care, Breakfast and After School clubs, holiday playschemes and provide a wide range of extra-curricular activities for our children. Building and maintaining strong community links is especially important to us, working with the church through the vicar, encouraging parental involvement, developing a Parent Support Group to inform our community about developments with our new school build project, raising money for charitable causes both locally and nationally.
Bishop Wilson C of E School is also an additionally resourced school (ARC) for Solihull MBC with 12 pupils with speech, language and communication difficulties, providing targeted support for these pupils alongside their peers. Significantly, our school is currently being rebuilt on a new site integrating education, church, health, adult education, extended community and council services with an opening date of September 2013 as part of the North Solihull Regeneration Project; this is keenly awaited and has been the result of many years of hard work by all stakeholders developing a vision and working together to provide for an even better future for our children and the community.
